The Neuron Clinic Gp is seeking an Advanced Practitioner for their outpatient neurology group in Chula Vista, California. You will focus on high quality patient care in a collegial environment, specializing in general neurology and working collaboratively with neurologists.

Responsibilities

• In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistance is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.
• The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
• The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
