Job summary

The Theneuronclinic in Chula Vista, CA is seeking an advanced practitioner to join our neurology team. You will provide high‑quality patient care, perform independent clinical assessments, and manage neurology cases in collaboration with our board‑certified neurologists and NPs.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. California NP or PA license and DEA registration are required; prior neurology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• California NP or PA license required.
• DEA registration required.
• Previous experience in neurology preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for neurological patients.
• Operate with minimal supervision within Standardized Procedures in a collaborative practice.
• Coordinate care, educate patients and families, promote safe continuity of care, and refer as needed.
• Document services rendered.

Responsibilities

• In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistance is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.
• The NP/PA must be self‑directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
• The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
• Document services rendered.
