Job summary

Glia Health Management seeks an advanced practitioner (NP/PA) to join our neurology outpatient team in California. You will provide independent clinical assessment and patient care management for neurological patients, coordinating with physicians and staff under standardized procedures.

Work provides mentorship opportunities, clinical research participation, and ongoing professional development in a fast-paced outpatient setting with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• California NP or PA license required.
• DEA.
• Previous experience in neurology preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the NP/PA is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.
• The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision, following Standardized Procedures (SPs).
• The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, educate families, promote safe continuity of care and participate in clinical meetings.
• Document services rendered.

• The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
• The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
• Document services rendered.
