Job summary

Glia Health Management in Corona, CA is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our neurology specialty clinic. You will provide independent clinical assessment and patient care management for neurological patients, collaborating with neurologists and NPs to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a California NP/PA license and a DEA, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• DEA license required
• Previous experience in neurology preferred

Responsibilities

• In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the NP/PA is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management for neurological patients.
• The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision, operating under standardized procedures.
• The NP/PA will provide and coordinate care, educate patients and families, promote safe continuity of care, participate in clinical meetings, and make appropriate referrals.

• The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
• The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
