Glia Health Management in Palm Springs, CA is seeking an advanced practitioner (NP/PA) to join our neurology outpatient team providing high-quality patient care in collaboration with clinic neurologists and NPs.

The ideal candidate holds a California NP or PA license (DEA) with experience in neurology, is fluent in English and Spanish preferred, and excels at patient communication, rapport-building, and working in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• California NP or PA license required.
• DEA.
• Previous experience in neurology preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the NP/PA is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.
• The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
• The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
• Document services rendered.
