Job summary

SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology is seeking a dedicated full-time nurse practitioner to join the Cardiology clinic at Saint Louis University Hospital.

The selected APP will contribute to the expansion of our Cardiac program and provide comprehensive outpatient care. Responsibilities include managing new consultations and follow-ups, treating heart failure, CAD, and arrhythmias, with an inpatient rounding rotation and no night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Cardiology experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with physicians.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited program.
• Current certification.
• Possession of, or eligibility for, Missouri licensure.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic visits including new consultations and follow-ups.
• Manage chronic disease management in heart failure, CAD, and arrhythmias per scope.
• Inpatient rounding rotation of 1:4 with coverage needs.
• No nights, weekends, holidays, or call obligations.
• Supported by a patient-focused staff.
• Practice within a state-of-the-art facility.

Job description

SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology, Cardiology | SLUCare is seeking a dedicated full-time (1.0 FTE) experienced nurse practitioner. The selected APP will contribute to the expansion of our Cardiac clinic at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.

• Prior experience in cardiology strongly preferred.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with physicians.

• Graduation from a nationally accredited program.

• Current certification.

• Possession of, or eligibility for, Missouri licensure.

Position Details

• Outpatient clinic environment, Monday through Friday, with inpatient rounding responsibilities.

• Independently manage outpatient visits including new consultations and follow-ups as well as provide chronic disease management in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmia according to scope of practice.

• Participate in an inpatient rounding rotation of 1:4 (one week every four weeks), requiring flexibility based on coverage needs.

• There are no nights, weekends, holidays, or call obligations.

• Supported by a patient-focused staff.

• Practice within a state-of-the-art facility.
