Job summary

SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology, Cardiology | SLUCare is seeking a dedicated full-time experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to expand the Cardiac Electrophysiology clinic at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.

The role includes outpatient visits and an inpatient rounding rotation with no night or weekend obligations. Comprehensive benefits begin within 30 days, and licensure in Missouri is required or eligible.

Qualifications

  • Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology preferred, including ECG interpretation and device management.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with physicians.
  • Graduation from an NP or PA program; current RN/APRN or PA-C certification.
  • Missouri RN/APRN or PA licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient clinic management, Monday–Friday, with inpatient rounding every other week.
  • Manage new consultations and follow-ups; provide chronic disease management (HF, CAD, arrhythmia) per scope.
  • Participate in inpatient rounding rotation and outpatient duties.
  • No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call obligations.

Job description

SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology, Cardiology | SLUCareis seeking a dedicated full-time (1.0 FTE) experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant. The selected NP/PA will contribute to the expansion of our Cardiac Electrophysiology clinic at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in cardiology or cardiac electrophysiology is strongly preferred, including ECG interpretation skills and device management knowledge.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with physicians.
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
  • Current certification as an RN/APRN or PA-C.
  • Possession of, or eligibility for, Missouri RN/APRN licensure or PA licensure.
Position Details:
  • Outpatient clinic environment, Monday through Friday, with inpatient rounding responsibilities.
  • Independently manage outpatient visitsincluding new consultations and follow-upsas well as provide chronic disease management in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmia according to scope of practice.
  • Participate in an inpatient rounding rotation every other week with outpatient.
  • There are no nights, weekends, holidays, or call obligations.
