Job summary

SSM Health Heart & Vascular Care in Fenton, MO, is recruiting for a full-time cardiology physician assistant to join a strong team in an established department attached to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital. Expect 100% inpatient rounding and stress lab supervision with a Monday–Friday schedule and no nights or on-call requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree and Missouri PA license, with cardiovascular experience or solid cardiology rotations. Weekend coverage is optional for extra pay.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited physician assistant program.
• Certified physician assistant.
• Active Missouri physician assistant license or ability to obtain license.
• Prefer experience in cardiology or new/recent graduates with rotations in cardiology.

SSM Health Heart & Vascular Care Heart Care | Fenton, MO | SSM Health is recruiting for a full-time cardiology physician assistant. This role is critical to improving patient outcomes and reducing hospital readmissions.

Opportunity:

• Join an established and growing department of five cardiologists and three APPs.

• 100% inpatient rounding and stress lab supervision.

• Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or call.

• Optional weekend coverage is available if desired for extra pay.

• Anticipate 5-10 new patient consults and 20 follow-up patients daily, split up between the existing APPs.

• Clinic is attached to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited physician assistant program.

• Certified physician assistant.

• Active Missouri physician assistant license or ability to obtain.

• Prefer experience in cardiology or new/recent graduates with rotations in cardiology.
