Job summary

SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology is seeking a dedicated full-time advanced practice provider to join the Cardiac Electrophysiology clinic at Saint Louis University Hospital. The APP will work in an outpatient setting, with inpatient rounding every other week and no nightly obligations.

Responsibilities include managing new consultations and follow-ups, plus chronic disease care in heart failure, CAD, and arrhythmia within scope.

Qualifications

• Requires ECG interpretation skills and device management knowledge.
• Able to work autonomously while collaborating with physicians.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited program.
• Current RN/APRN or PA-C certification.

Job description

SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology, Cardiology | SLUCare is seeking a dedicated full-time (1.0 FTE) experienced advanced practice provider. The selected APP will contribute to the expansion of our Cardiac Electrophysiology clinic at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience in cardiology or cardiac electrophysiology is strongly preferred, including ECG interpretation skills and device management knowledge.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with physicians.

• Graduation from a nationally accredited program.

• Current certification as an RN/APRN or PA-C.

• Possession of, or eligibility for, Missouri RN/APRN licensure or PA licensure.

Position Details:

• Outpatient clinic environment, Monday through Friday, with inpatient rounding responsibilities.

• Independently manage outpatient visits including new consultations and follow-ups as well as provide chronic disease management in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmia according to scope of practice.

• Participate in an inpatient rounding rotation every other week with outpatient.

• There are no nights, weekends, holidays, or call obligations.

• Supported by a patient-focused staff.
