Job summary

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group—Department of Surgery is seeking an advanced practice provider (PA or NP) to join the General Surgery division. The role includes fast-paced inpatient care with high-acuity ER, hospital and ICU patients, and potential first-assistant work in the operating room.

The APP will also see elective General Surgery patients in clinic and manage postoperative follow-ups. Responsibilities include coordinating care with physicians and Patient Navigators,

Qualifications

RNFA Certification required or currently pursuing.
Three years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in fast-paced inpatient clinical environment with high-acuity ER, hospital and ICU patients.
Potential for first assistant work in the operating room.
Clinic/office practice handling elective General Surgery patients and post-op follow-ups.
Coordinate patient care with physicians and Patient Navigators; improve referral networks.
Provide cross-coverage for Colorectal and Surgical Oncology services when needed.
