Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking an advanced practice provider (PA or NP) to join the Division of General Surgery in Murrieta. The APP will work in a fast-paced inpatient environment, participate in potential first-assistant duties in the OR, and handle elective general surgery patients and postoperative follow-ups.

The role includes coordinating care with physicians and navigators, expanding referral networks, and cross-coverage for colorectal and surgical oncology services as needed.

Qualifications

• RNFA Certification or working toward RNFA Certification.
• Three years of experience is preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced inpatient clinical environment with high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with collaborating physicians and patient navigators.
• Improve referral networks for elective General Surgery practice.
• Cross-coverage for the Colorectal and Surgical Oncology services (elective cases and inpatient rounding/consults).
• Clinic/office practice including seeing elective General Surgery patients and postoperative follow-ups.
