Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking a Surgical Services Advanced Practice Provider to join a fast-paced surgical team. The APP uses advanced clinical judgment and performs pre/postoperative care, inpatient rounding, and surgical first assist across ACS, General Surgery, and subspecialties.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
• National Advanced Practice Nurse certification.
• Current PA CRNP license from PA Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Two years of RN work experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care across perioperative continuum.
• Perform inpatient rounding and surgical first assistance as needed.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, nursing, case management, and ancillary staff.
• Support ACS, General Surgery, and subspecialties with clinical coverage.
