Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager – Advanced Practice for the Hospital at Night Team. The post is 36 hours per week, permanent and requires a UK driving licence.

The role leads the Acute Care Advanced Practice Team and delivers advanced clinical leadership across Ayrshire and Arran. The successful candidate must be an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with current NMC registration and a Pg.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and Pg. Dip Advanced Practice (or equivalent specialised qualification).
• Current non‑medical prescriber.
• Experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead Acute Care Advanced Practice Team.
• Quality and safety focus with drive to transform care across Ayrshire and Arran.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective operational management within the Acute Care AP Team.
• Lead and develop the Acute Care Advanced Practice Team across clinical areas.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and teams to ensure high standards of care.
• Be flexible to work shifts and support clinical services as needed.
