Qualifications

• Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their BSN within four years of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and assesses information from the interdisciplinary team and patient, family, physician, and others.
• Promotes professionalism and engagement on the unit; supports nursing management messaging and initiatives.
• Manages patient care delivery priorities, time, supplies, and staffing needs.
• Communicates admission, discharge, and transfer information to ensure appropriate patient placement.
• Performs performance reviews, peer reviews, and recognizes staff performance.
