Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking Advanced Practitioners to work autonomously across Primary, Community and Acute Services during in- and out-of-hours, seven days a week. You will make complex, autonomous decisions with MDT support to deliver high-quality care and clear handovers for GP/Acute services.

Requirements include NMC/HCPC/GPHC registration, a Masters-level qualification, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice. Train via Annex 21 with progression to Band 7 on completion.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse / AHP / Pharmacist with valid NMC/HCPC/GPHC Registration.
• Educated to/working towards/operating at Masters Level.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice and expertise within speciality.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously assesses, diagnose and treats across acute and primary settings.
• Utilise advanced knowledge to plan, implement and evaluate care programmes.
