Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina (APRN/PA) with DEA.
• Board certification if required by the Department.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical exams; interpret tests and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Provide leadership and education to clinicians, staff, and students; participate in rounds and meetings.
• Interact with patients and families respectfully; coordinate with team to ensure timely care.
• Engage in quality improvement and protocol development to enhance patient outcomes.
