American Family Care (AFC) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to deliver care within the scope of training and the governing agreement at a franchised AFC location in Modesto, CA. You will work with other providers to maintain efficient patient flow and high satisfaction levels.

Requirements include board-certified PA/NP, active licensure in the state, a DEA number, and the ability to multi-task and work independently.

Qualificações

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Board-certified PA/NP – ANCC/AANP/NCCPA with ER/UC experience preferred.
• Active PA/NP licensure in the practicing state, DEA number, and state-controlled substance credentials, as required.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies appropriate for patient condition.
• Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals to appropriate facilities or resources.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization in events such as cardiac arrest, shock, or poisoning.
• Interpret and analyze patient data to determine status and management.
• Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients and families.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
