Job summary

American Family Care Montgomery/Princeton is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to care for patients within the scope of training and franchise guidelines. You will work with a team to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction at a franchised AFC location.

The role requires active PA/NP licensure, board certification, and eligibility for DEA; applicants should be able to multi-task and work independently in a busy urgent care environment.

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
• Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure, DEA number, and CDS where required
• Able to multi-task and work independently
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family

Responsibilities

• Take detailed health histories, review records, and develop medical assessments and orders
• Formulate diagnoses and arrange therapy or referrals to appropriate facilities
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization when needed
• Interpret patient data to guide management and treatment
• Provide care guidance and health-promotion information to patients and families
• Other duties as assigned
