Job summary

American Family Care Modesto is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to deliver patient care within the scope of training and approved by the board. You will collaborate with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction at a franchised AFC location.

The role requires licensure as PA or NP in California, board certification (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA), and ability to multi-task and work independently.

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified.
• Active PA/NP licensure in state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate as required.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health histories and review records; develop medical assessments and order labs/imaging as appropriate.
• Formulate medical/ nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals to appropriate facilities or resources.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilize patients in cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
• Interpret patient data to determine status and guide treatment decisions.
• Provide health care guidance to patients and families.
