Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider II in the Department of Medicine - Lymphoma. The role centers on delivering compassionate cancer care, guiding patients and families, and collaborating with a team of physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.

As part of a nationally recognized cancer center, you will contribute to patient care, research, and innovation while supporting the cancer journey from assessment to treatment and survivorship.

Qualifikationen

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York; certification as Nursing Practitioner.
• Current New York NP certification; and eligibility for NP certification by a national body.
• Master’s or higher‑level degree in Nursing.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic health conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor ongoing care.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic test results.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the care team.
• Prescribe medications and help manage symptoms during treatment.
• Provide continuity of care across the cancer journey.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and care plans.
• Serve as a clinical mentor for APCs, nursing staff, residents, fellows, students, and other learners.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence, compassion, and learning.
