Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the Breast Surgery/Oncology team in a full-time role. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to guide patients through treatment planning, management, and recovery, ensuring compassionate, high-quality care.

The position requires NY Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure with national certification, ACLS certification within six months, and a master’s

Qualifications

NYS license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and NY NP certification, or NY PA license and NCCPA certification.
Master’s or higher‑level degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
Two years in Advanced Practice Provider role in oncology/cancer care preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Perform comprehensive evaluations and monitor ongoing care needs.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
Develop individualized treatment plans with the care team.
Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
Educate and support patients and families.
