Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. This off-site role may require off-hours, weekend, and on-call commitments.

Qualifications

Master's degree required in Nursing.
Master's degree preferred.
Nursing license and BLS required; prescriptive authority in MA and federal DEA.
PA with Master's degree required; NCCPA/ARC-PA and BLS required.

Responsibilities

Perform history and physicals, develop care plans, order/interpret tests, educate patients and families.
Educate staff and serve as a clinical resource through consultations and seminars.
Coordinate patient care with nursing and consult services to ensure timely, safe care.
Collaborate with physicians/surgeons on complex diagnoses and care plans.
Document clinical encounters clearly and promptly.
