Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. seeks qualified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for an off-site, full-time role delivering direct patient care in ambulatory and inpatient settings. You will work with faculty, fellows and nursing staff to develop coordinated care plans for patients with complex conditions and surgical needs.

Required are NP/PA Master’s degrees, licenses, prescriptive authority, and BLS. Experience with computers and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

Master's degree required in Nursing for NP and Master's degree for PA.
MA Board authorization to practice as an APRN NRSG and PA license required.
Basic Life Support certification and prescriptive authority required.
Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Office tools.

Responsibilities

Perform history and physical exams and create care plans.
Order and interpret labs and diagnostics; educate patients and families.
Coordinate care with nursing staff, consultants, and physicians.
Document encounters clearly and timely; ensure interdisciplinary collaboration.
Provide direct patient care and management for opioid patients.
Educate staff and act as clinical resource; participate in seminars.
Ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care across ambulatory and inpatient settings.
