Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Nursing for NP track; PA track requires Master's in Physician Assistant studies.
• Nursing License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
• Prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA; MA Board authorization to practice as an APRN.
• Experience with computer systems, including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Access).

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations, formulates care plans, orders and interprets tests, and educates patients and families.
• Acts as an educator and clinical resource through consultations, seminars, and literature reviews.
• Coordinates patient care to provide safe, efficient, and timely services; liaises with visiting nurses and clinical staff.
• Develops and documents care plans; consults with physicians or surgeons for complex diagnoses.
• Maintains clear, precise, timely documentation of clinical encounters.
