Job summary

Benchmark Electronics is seeking a Production Inspector to perform routine visual, mechanical and electrical inspection of PCBs and assemblies on a 24/7 operation in Minnesota. You will follow process sheets, verify documentation, and assist in addressing defects using a range of inspection tools, including AOI and X-ray equipment.

Requires a high school diploma, 1+ year basic electronics manufacturing experience, and 2+ years advanced inspection (AOI).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of experience in basic electronics manufacturing.
• 2+ years of advanced electronics inspection (AOI) experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine visual, mechanical and electrical inspection of PCBs, systems and sub-assemblies.
• Inspect component placement, soldering, markings and quality requirements across multiple technologies.
• Retrieve paperwork and drawings, verify dates and routing.
• Verify board placement, polarity and labels; route defective boards to rework/repair.
