Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center is seeking an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patient-centered care under RN guidance. You will observe changes, assist with daily activities, and provide advanced tasks like phlebotomy and wound care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will help with lab sample collection and clerical duties to keep care running smoothly, while staying proactive to anticipate patient needs and ensure compassionate experiences.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team.
• Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely.
• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds.
• Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly.
• Look ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate.
