Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Patient Care Technician for tele monitoring. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include observing patients, assisting with ADLs, phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, IV removal and wound care, as well as supporting routine lab collection and clerical duties to keep care running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes and communicate with the nursing team.
• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing and mobility.
• Provide advanced care including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, IV removal and wound care.
