Job summary

Research Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Advanced Patient Care Technician to support compassionate, patient-centered care under RN guidance. You will assist with advanced clinical tasks and help create a welcoming environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include observing patients, assisting with ADLs, phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, IV/catheter care, and lab sample collection. Strong teamwork and quick responsiveness are essential.

Qualifications

• BCLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate with the nursing team.
• Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely.
• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and wound care.
• Assist with collecting lab samples and clerical duties to keep care running smoothly.
• Respond quickly and anticipate patient needs to ensure a seamless and compassionate experience.
