St. David's North Austin Medical Center, part of St. David's HealthCare, is hiring an Advanced Patient Care Technician IMC.

Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients and families. Duties include observing patients, documenting changes, assisting with daily living activities, providing advanced care such as phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, and catheter/wound care.

Formación

• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilidades

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team
• Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely
• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds
• Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly
• Look ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate
