Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to perform advanced direct and indirect patient care under licensed clinicians.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of nursing assistant or healthcare experience, plus BLS and CPCT certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years Nursing Assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Provides advanced designated direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction and supervision of the licensed clinical team members.
• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Maintains a safe patient care environment.
• May be assigned the role of a virtual safety associate as needed.
