Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to provide advanced direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed clinicians. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and efficiency across units.

The PCT II will have advanced clinical skills and certifications, and may serve as a resource/mentor in safe patient handling, de-escalation techniques, and point-of-care testing. A High School Diploma and healthcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years nursing assistant or healthcare experience required.
• Certification and completion of advanced skills training within six months of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care within interprofessional team.
• Basic life support (BLS) and AHA certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Interact with patients, families, and staff with Jefferson Health values.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care under licensed clinicians.
• Support interprofessional team and maintain safe patient environment.
• Assist in training new staff on supplies and equipment use.
