Job summary

Valmont Industries in Brenham, TX is seeking an NDT Inspector – Advanced to evaluate the assembly of fabricated materials, perform nondestructive testing (ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant) and maintain detailed NDT reports. This role reports to the Quality Supervisor and requires CWI and Level II NDT certifications, strong safety focus, and the ability to mentor junior inspectors.

Evenings 2nd shift, 3PM-11PM, base pay $40.22/hr plus $1.00 shift differential, with potential step

Qualifications

• Must have AWS CWI certification and Level II NDT in UT/VT/MT/PT.
• 7+ years in a fabricated steel environment or 5+ with degrees.
• Ability to operate NDT testing equipment and interpret results.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to mentor juniors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate products for conformance to specs.
• Interpret NDT reports and determine acceptance or rejection.
• Maintain NDT records and generate reports for audits.
• Coordinate quality activities to meet production goals.
• Assist and mentor Entry/Intermediate NDT Inspectors.
