Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a candidate to assist in flow control component and test hardware design for next-generation reactor plant components. You will perform hydraulic design, modeling, analysis, and support test sponsorship to quantify and improve performance.

Required are a related technical degree and strong problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills; CAD/CFD/FEA tools experience is preferred. U.S. citizenship and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical, engineering, or science field.
• Strong problem solving, teaming, and communication skills.
• Experience with CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks) or CFD/FEA modeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hydraulic design, modeling and analysis of flow control equipment.
• Sponsor tests and document performance evaluations.
• Develop methods and integrate with testing communities and other engineering disciplines.
