Qualifications

  • Applicants need a related technical, engineering, or science degree and either four years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, two years with a master's degree, or a doctorate; specified current company engineering roles are also accepted.
  • Preferred qualifications include strong academic performance, teamwork and leadership, experience with FEA, design drawings or manufacturing, technical writing, and strong communication skills.

  • Design, analyze, and test naval nuclear propulsion components and technologies, and develop manufacturing processes that reduce cost and development time.
  • Support primary and secondary system development and coordinate mechanical engineering work with multidisciplinary reactor plant design teams.
