Job summary
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a talented engineer to contribute to pump and valve engineering projects, performing hydraulic design, modeling, and analysis to advance next-gen reactor components. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelors or Masters in a related field, strong problem solving and communication skills, and familiarity with CAD/FEA tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field.
- Strong problem solving, teaming, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with flow control equipment and fluid dynamics modeling.
Responsibilities
- Assist in hydraulic design, modeling and analysis.
- Perform fluid and/or structural evaluations.
- Support testing, documentation, and methods development.
- Collaborate with testing communities and other engineering disciplines.
