Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-year Electronic or Electrical Engineering Technology degree.
• Successful completion of the Meter Technicians Training Program.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Ability to obtain Permit and Tag certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, adjust, repair, test and calibrate meters and metering equipment.
• Program and maintain TOU/RUG Meter programs and related holiday schedules.
• Support meter data acquisition software/hardware for revenue billing.
• Maintain AMR and SCE components and related test equipment.
• Follow safety rules, OSHA regulations and environmental standards.
• Coordinate testing with Owner Department and field forces.
• Collect field data for power quality investigations and analysis.
• Perform calibration of field test equipment and maintain procedures.
