Job summary

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required or eligibility under VA Grandfathering provisions
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required
• English language proficiency in accordance with 38 U.S.C.
• One year of creditable experience at the next lower grade or equivalent
• Experience and KSAs related to advanced Medical Support Assistant responsibilities
• Knowledge of healthcare processes and patient care coordination

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient care across PACT teams
• Communicate with patients, the care team, VA facilities, and community resources
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance in all interactions
• Enter and manage data in electronic medical records and scheduling systems
• Assist in monitoring clinic schedules and patient flow across multiple clinics
