Job summary

CSP Innovations, Inc. in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead cost estimates, DFMA workshops, and equipment/process design for CSP production facilities.

You will ensure manufacturability of designs and collaborate with IE and Product Engineering to optimize parts, tooling, and material handling. Responsibilities include launching equipment across CSP facilities, managing RFQs, and maintaining compliance with QA/QC policies while traveling 30–60% to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relative field with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of 3D drawing formats and GD&T.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Composites post mold processing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and develop manufacturing cost estimates for business cases.
• Lead DFM/DFA workshops and ensure manufacturability of designs.
• Plan and design equipment, tooling, and processes for CSP facilities.
• Coordinate launches of equipment/processes from inception to execution.
• Maintain supplier compliance with equipment standards and manage RFQs.
• Monitor QA/QC policies, codes, and workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with IE and Product Eng to determine parts, tools, and flows.
• Conduct time and method studies to establish time standards.
