Job summary

First Solar, Inc. is seeking a maintenance professional in Trinity, AL to perform on-site service, repair, and preventive maintenance of facility equipment.

You will work independently, meet repair-time targets, and collaborate with other departments while following strict safety practices. Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED with 3+ years of maintenance experience or equivalent, CMMS familiarity, and the ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED with 3+ years maintenance experience, or 5+ years in related field, or 2-year technical school plus 3+ years experience.
• Journeyman's Card from an accredited apprenticeship program preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and CMMS is a plus.
• Ability to read prints and follow electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site service and repair of equipment as scheduled.
• Meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times.
• Collaborates with other departments and trains others if needed.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety practices; adhere to LOTO.
• Read electrical/mechanical drawings and manuals; troubleshoot to system level.
• Pull reports and enter data into CMMS; manage waste generated from work.
• May fill in as Team Lead if no Tech III is available.
