Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance of facility, equipment, and grounds at our Trinity, AL site. You will work under direction to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma/GED with 3+ years of maintenance experience or related field expertise, potentially with a Journeyman’s Card. CMMS knowledge is a plus and strong problem-solving abilities are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with maintenance experience (3+ years) or related field experience.
• Journeyman’s Card preferred.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus; internal candidates should know CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and repair of equipment as directed.
• Meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety practices.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and communicate them.
• May train other employees or serve as Team Lead when needed.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings and manuals.
