Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to troubleshoot, fix, and maintain equipment at our plant in Ayer, MA. You will support preventative maintenance and advance your skills as part of a safety-focused team.

Responsibilities include executing work orders, reinforcing safe work practices, and mentoring other technicians as you grow your maintenance expertise in a food-manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years maintenance in manufacturing.
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Proficient with computers and applying software.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks per work orders assigned.
• Understand how to work safely and speak up when you do not.
• Continue to learn new skills and grow in your maintenance expertise.
• Train other Maintenance and Reliability Technicians.
