Standard Meat Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to ensure reliability of facility equipment and utilities. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity while collaborating with team members.

You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs, while supporting automation and control system improvements. The position requires rigorous adherence to GMP and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, appliances, and devices used for troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect equipment and report failures or safety issues.
• Monitor automation system performance and report abnormalities.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Carrying out repairs to maintain equipment and machinery.
• Support installation and improvement of automation and control systems.
• Operate power tools, measuring instruments, welding systems safely.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks (Plant Certification required).
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance worksheets.
• Maintain equipment manuals in the Maintenance Library.
• Attend GMP and Safety meetings and ongoing training.
• Manage parts inventory to ensure supplies for maintenance.
