Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Mill Technician to maintain the milling operation from wheat elevator to finished product, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will operate automated milling units, monitor blending processes, and support maintenance and sanitation tasks across the plant.

The role requires at least 2 years in an industrial setting, strong computer skills, and the ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food production, or equivalent).
• Advanced skill with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and food safety while operating the mill and related equipment.
• Produce flour and co-products to meet specifications for delivery to customers.
• Perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot alarms, and support 5S and continuous improvement efforts.
