Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift at our Martins Creek, PA facility. The role covers mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to keep plant operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics and PLC logic.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret electrical systems and read PLC ladder logic.
• Good communication skills and proficiency with computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental precision maintenance by completing work orders.
• Carry out general buildings and grounds repairs as needed.
• Monitor and repair plant equipment such as air compressors, dryers, and boilers.
• Work safely and speak up when safety concerns arise.
• Learn and apply new maintenance skills and share knowledge with others.
• Train other maintenance and reliability technicians.
• Be proficient in intermediate mechanical and electrical capabilities.
