Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
• Understanding of electrical systems and PLCs.
• Comfortable with computers.
• Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant machinery and equipment through preventive and emergency maintenance.
• Follow diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Operate CMMS to ensure correct and safe operation of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding equipment.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and documentation of actions and equipment needs.
• Prepare maintenance reports and summarize daily activity logs, trends and analyses.
