Job summary
Hyosung HICO LTD. in Memphis, TN seeks a Plant Engineering Technician to perform installation and maintenance on production and facilities equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
You will analyze manuals and schematics, diagnose root causes, and implement lasting repairs while supporting TPM tasks and safety programs. The role requires interfacing with PLCs, understanding ladder logic, and performing high-precision mechanical assembly, welding and brazing
Qualifications
- Perform installation and maintenance on production and facilities equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform lasting repairs.
- Interpret manuals, prints, wiring diagrams, schematics and other technical documents.
- Interface with PLCs to diagnose malfunctions and verify ladder logic.
- Operate HVAC systems including large chillers.
- Adhere to CSMS safety policies and 6S practices.
- Perform high precision mechanical assembly and brazing.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
- Design, fabricate and procure tools with Manufacturing teams.
- Support Plant Engineering and Maintenance Manager as needed.
- Ensure safety policies and 6S practices are followed.
