Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Welder to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain heavy manufacturing equipment. The role covers welding, robot weld lines, and painting/coating systems, with emphasis on troubleshooting electrical and PM tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment in heavy manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and PM tasks on industrial machinery.
• Proficient reading of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain steel fabrication equipment (saws, punches, presses, welding equipment, robot weld lines, painting and coating equipment).
• Troubleshoot maintenance/electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain cranes and hoists and ensure equipment reliability.
