Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in a factory setting. The role requires diagnosing root causes, repairing electrical and mechanical systems, and using CMMS to update records.

Candidates should have an associate degree or relevant progression program and be willing to travel as needed. You will work with basic and specialized tools, participate in safety and 5S standards, and

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, diagnosing root causes and repairing defects.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Operates multiple machining operations and may perform welding tasks.
• Follows safety policies and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Supports CI activities and records CMMS history.
• Troubleshoots control systems to resolve software/hardware issues and analyzes system configurations.
• Uses predictive maintenance data to monitor equipment performance.
• Mentors lower-level technicians and participates in training and development.
