Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician II in New Jersey. The role focuses on mid to advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative care for industrial equipment. You will work with a team to improve gear reliability and uptime across automotive and manufacturing environments.

You’ll engage in hands-on repair, part sourcing, and tool use, with ongoing training through ATS’s progression program. The position offers full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience, or 5 years in general industry / ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance; identify root causes and repair defects.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards; support CI activities.
• Update CMMS records and review history; track equipment data.
• Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Use predictive maintenance tech to collect performance data.
• Mentor and support lower level technicians; participate in team training.
• Complete on-the-job and technical self-study for career development.
