Job summary

Lennox is seeking an HVAC Lab Technician to assist engineers in planning and testing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. The role emphasizes testing prototypes, fabricating components, and documenting results. A 2nd shift is required (2pm–10:30pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two year degree or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• At least 5 years related experience.
• Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for precision plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Responsibilities

• Test complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
• Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
• Review project instructions to identify, modify, and plan fabrication, assembly and testing requirements.
• Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data.
• Help prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Assist in establishing work load completion dates.
• This is a 2nd shift position (2pm - 10:30pm)
